This is Crayola's story. We gave her that name in the hope that one day, all the gray would be filled with color, with many colors. Crayola came to us marked by fear. A car abandoned her on the street, and when the light turned from red to green, it put her on the asphalt and drove off. She ran after it, not understanding that she had been left behind. Someone witnessed the scene and decided to help her, taking her to a temporary shelter. In those early days, Crayola showed signs of great distrust. She wouldn't let anyone touch her, she would growl and isolate herself, her gaze reflecting the sadness she carried inside.
